If you are a user of our services, we may disclose your personal data to certain third-party vendors (e.g., data storage facilities, payment processors, CRM solution providers, email service providers) who provide important ancillary services to 1.security. Transfers to third parties are covered by the services agreements with our Customers, so if you have any questions in regard to this, you should reach out to the Customer through which your account is being serviced. Additionally:

We may send email communications to selected groups of 1.security users on behalf of our company and on behalf of other businesses in whose products, services and/or enhancements thereto such users may have an interest; but we will not initiate the disclosure of any personal data to such businesses. We will also include in each such email instructions as to how our users can permanently opt-out of receiving any such future emails. In addition, you may contact us at privacy@1.security to request that your information no longer be used in this manner.
  2. In certain situations, 1.security may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We also reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information if we reasonably believe we are required to do so by law, regulation, or other government authority and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our website.

Use of 1.security Services

1.security collects information under the direction of its Customers and has no direct relationship with Customer users (other than administrators) whose personal data it processes. A Customer user who seeks access to data, who seeks to correct, amend, delete inaccurate data, or withdraw consent to further contact should direct his/her query to 1.security's Customer (the data controller). If the Customer requests 1.security to remove the data because they are unable to do so, we will respond to its request within a reasonable time.

We will retain your personal data used in processing on behalf of Customers for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Non-users

For non-users of 1.security's services, upon request, 1.security will provide you with information about whether we hold, or process on behalf of a third party, any of your personal data. If you would like to access your personal data in order to correct, update, or delete it, you may contact us directly at privacy@1.security. Requests for access will be responded to within a reasonable timeframe.

 

Blog / Testimonials

If you submit information to a blog or provide a testimonial on our website, you should be aware that any personal data you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. For testimonials, we obtain the individual's consent prior to posting his or her name and photograph along with the testimonial. General Data Protection Regulation

The following provisions are supplemented by other commitments and statements 1.security makes under this Privacy Policy that are required by GDPR, and in some instances may even repeat those commitments and statements. In case of any conflict, the terms of this section will prevail as to personal data of European Union residents that is subject to GDPR. For purposes of this section, the term “personal data” includes all “personal information” as defined in the GDPR, and the term “sensitive personal data” includes all “sensitive personal information” as defined in GDPR. 1.security acts as a 'data processor' with respect to users of its services, processing personal data according to the instructions of these users (the data controllers). Conversely, 1.security may be regarded as a 'data controller' in relation to non-users to the extent that it decides to collect and share the personal data of these non-users with third parties (contractors or service providers), determining the purposes and means of such processing.

1.security does not solicit for collection, selling, or sharing any sensitive personal data of users of 1.security’s services. Users may upload information into 1.security’s services that may be considered sensitive personal data, but that would be done at the users’ own discretion and users would have the ability to manage such data as they deem necessary.

If we intend to share your personal data with contractors or service providers in accordance with this Privacy Policy, we will only do so pursuant to an agreement with each recipient requiring it to comply with GDPR and, in particular, specifying:

  1. Data is shared for specific, legitimate business purposes only;
  2. Recipients adhere to data protection obligations equivalent to those stipulated in these regulations;

If you believe that any personal data we are processing about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you can request us to correct or complete it as follows:

    • Directly within your user account settings, if applicable, where you can update your own information.
    • By contacting the 1.security customer's appointed services administrator assigned to your account. This administrator will be your first point of contact for such requests.
    • If your appointed services administrator requires our assistance or if you do not have an administrator assigned, you are encouraged to contact 1.security support directly through the contact details provided on our website.

    Upon receiving a request for correction, we commit to using commercially reasonable efforts to address your concerns and correct any inaccuracies in your personal data promptly. Additionally, where relevant and practicable, we will notify third parties to whom the data has been disclosed of any corrections made to ensure the accuracy of your personal data across all processing activities.

    Please note that this right is subject to certain exceptions and may not apply in cases where the personal data is deemed necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, or where the requests are unfounded or excessive.
